Lisa Brainard Watson is a transplanted Army brat who has called Litchfield Park home since 1974. After graduating from Litchfield Elementary and then Agua Fria High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Business from ASU and then a Master’s in Education from Chapman University.
Retired in May of 2018, she taught for 21 years in both the Litchfield and Agua Fria Districts, teaching both ends of the spectrum at Agua Fria with Advanced Placement senior classes as well as largely Special Ed and English Language Learner classes at the freshman level, and all three grades at the middle school level.
She has two grown children, Bethany and William, and three grandchildren, Peyton, Remington, and Georgia. An avid history buff she has been a member of the Litchfield Park Historical Society Board of Directors for 12 years and has served as Secretary and most recently, President.
