State statues allow for the removal of a political sign placed in a location that is "hazardous to public safety, obstructs clear vision in the area or interferes with the requirements of the Americans with disabilities act." A.R.S. §16-1019(C)(11).
The City Code requires that a permit be issued when placing temporary signs in the Rights-of-Way. Also, if you believe that one of your signs may have been removed, but you have not yet heard from the Code Compliance Officer, please contact Rena Quale at 623-889-6215.
