Block Watch

Overview

Since the Sheriff’s Deputies are unable to patrol every neighborhood at all times, you can help by forming a Neighborhood Block Watch. You and your neighbors can stay safe by looking out for one another.

Step 1 Contact your neighbors from corner to corner or at least 8 to 10 houses in each direction and both sides of the street to see if they are interested in participating in a Block Watch program.

Step 2 Contact the Litchfield Park Block Watch Coordinator, Sonny Culbreth at 623-935-5033 to schedule your Block Watch meeting. Topics include:

Benefits of the Block Watch
Crime statistics in your area
Support programs
Burglary prevention
Co-Captains responsibilities

Step 3 Distribute fliers to neighbors informing them of meeting date and time. (The City's coordinator can make fliers for you to distribute.)

Step 4 Host your neighborhood organizational meeting.

You are on your way to a safer neighborhood and peace of mind.

Block Watch is a volunteer neighborhood watch program. It is simply neighbors looking out for neighbors that statistically reduces crimes and keeps neighborhoods safe.

If you are interested in learning more about this program please contact the Block Watch Coordinator Sonny Culbreth.
