January 13th - 15th - 25th Invitational Litchfield Park Gathering: Native American Fine Arts Festival
The festival is a free event held in the Litchfield Park Town Center. The event highlights the finest southwest Native American art, entertainment and learning opportunities throughout the weekend. A Festival Prelude will be hosted on Friday evening at The Wigwam. The festival is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit the festival website.
January 21st - Litchfield Park State of the City
Public meeting held from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. in Souers Hall at The Church of Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road.
January 22nd - Arts in the Park Concert Series
Free outdoor concert featuring Bluesman Mike & The Blues Review Band held on the front lawn of The Wigwam from 3-5 p.m.
January 28th - Kiwanis Litchfield Park Winter Trout Fishing Derby
This fun family event is held at the Tierra Verde Lake Park from 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; registration opens at 6:30 a.m. The event includes great fishing with over 1,000 lbs. of trout stocked in the lake. Food, prizes and giveaways. Fees: $6.00 per pole for ages 16 and older; $4.00 per pole for ages 15 and under. Must provide your own fishing equipment and bait.
February 10th - 12th - Litchfield Park Centennial Celebration
Weekend long activities celebrating 100 years of the community of Litchfield Park. Various events will be hosted by the City. The Wigwam, Litchfield Elementary School, Litchfield Park Historical Society and Museum, and more. Schedule and details currently being determined.
February 12th - Arts in the Park Concert Series
Free outdoor concert from 3 to 5 p.m. to be held this year as part of the Litchfield Park Centennial celebration. Concert location will be in the center of town in the business district along Old Litchfield Road, north of Wigwam Boulevard, featuring Desert Knights Band.
February 17th - 19th - 7th Annual Wigwam Festival of Fine Art
Free festival open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown Litchfield Park featuring Western, Southwest and Native American Fine Art. Vermillion Promotions
February 25th - Litchfield Park 10k, 5k, 1 Mile Run/Walk
Annual community run/walk draws people from all over the Valley and competitors from other states. Race begins and ends in front of the Litchfield Park Recreation Center. Registration includes race t-shirts, raffle prizes, food & drink, and post-race ceremonies. All ages and experience levels welcome. Entry fees $20 per competitive race; $10 Healthy Classroom Challenge. Online Registration
March 4th & 5th - 19th Annual Spring Art & Wine Festival
Free event on the Library Lawn & Town Center. Held Saturday & Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Over 200 art booths, Beer and Wine Garden with tastings offered by 10 Arizona wineries and microbreweries, plus culinary demonstrations, live music, great food, and much, much more! Free parking & admission.
March 12th - Arts in the Park Concert Series
Free outdoor concert held on the front lawn of The Wigwam from 4-6 p.m. featuring the PebbleRock Band.
April 7th - Arts in the Park Concert Series - Season Finale
Free outdoor concert featuring the Cold Shott & The Hurricane Horns, great tunes with high-energy style from beginning to end, held on the front lawn of The Wigwam from 7-9 p.m.
May 29th - Memorial Day Ceremony
In front of the WWII Memorial on Litchfield Elementary School Grounds (open to public), the City of Litchfield Park will remember the men and women who died while serving the United States Armed Forces with a Memorial Day ceremony. The event is expected to last approximately 30 minutes and will include the placing of floral tributes at the memorial in honor of the brave men and women who died while serving our country.
July 4th - "Splash Bash"
Independence Day Pool Party at the Litchfield Park Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry into the family event requires a $2 entry fee or Recreation Center pass. There will be water games, kids' activities, DJ, pool safety information, music, food for purchase, and a lot of family fun! For more information contact the Recreation Center at 623-935-9040.
